We believe in the pursuit of transparency and are trying to make the world a more open place by providing a platform for social perception to be discovered. A means of creating digital profiles that cannot be filtered, ones that ultimately represent the social truth.

Anonymity has two faces. Anonymity can be a good thing. It can allow for truths that would have otherwise been suppressed by fear or threat. It can also be used as a force of evil, facelessly spewing hatred and disrespect with a screen as a mask. Anonymity, then, is a gift that should be earned.

Credibility is the key. Post valid and authentic things and it will improve your credibility. A false statement will hurt it. Posting hatred will destroy it. Post lies and/or hatred and you’ll lose the gift of anonymity. The world will see your true face and you will face consequences for your words.

More Details:

There are two types of profiles, a Source and a Face. When you sign up, you create a Source Profile. That’s the one you control. A source has a Credibility, and every post from a Source has a Face that it’s about. Once a Face is posted about for the first time that Face comes into existence. From that point forward no single individual controls that Face, only the public as a whole.

When something is first posted there is no indicator of it’s Validity, it’s nothing more than a rumor. Other Sources can verify or dismiss it with the ‘T’ and ‘F’ buttons. When a post is socially verified by enough Sources, it becomes Credible. When a post is dismissed by enough sources, it is “Dismissed” and disappears from the app after a one hour redemption window.

Your Credibility is determined by how many of your posts were Credible or were Dismissed, and directly influences how much sway your vote has on the validity of posts. You can post Anonymously, but you won’t get the same Credibility increase as you would have had you used your identity.

We do not claim anything posted to be fact. We seek the Social Truth. The Social Truth has gotten it wrong before. (i.e. In 1500 the Social Truth was that the Sun revolved around the Earth.)

We do not condone bullying of any kind and actively monitor against it. We are looking for social truth, and how you say things matters. This has the potential to be a strong force of transparency. It all depends on how you use it.
